Sara Swoboda is an artist that has resided in Portland, Oregon since 2016. With a background of working in stop motion animation, her process is deeply influenced by narrative storytelling and experimentations with scale. Her current project: The Mile Long Scroll, is a 4ft wide continuous roll of art that she adds to every day responding to current events and personal experiences of daily life. An ambitious long-term project she started in late 2019 and continues to work on today. This exhibit is a portion of the Mile Long Scroll that was made in the years 2020 and 2021.
